The Vassie D. Wright Memorial Branch Library is named in honor the founder of Our Authors Study Club, a pioneering civic and cultural leader. The naming of the library stands as a public recognition of her foundational role in shaping OASC and her broader contributions to Black cultural and civic life in Los Angeles.
